Mixed group this week, Richard & Chris landing some nice thirties to 38lb12oz, well done guys see you next year.
David and Stuart, first timers to France banking a 32lb4oz mirror biggest for Stu & David landing a 29lb9oz mirror.
Also dutch Jo and his non angler girlfriend landing only the one fish a mid twenty.
This week see a lot more takes than fish as many fish are being lost/missed due to soft mouthed fish and fishing a little too close to the very tree lined margins, just a little tip to those viewing and visiting us in the future, try feeding the fish not so close to the trees and undergrowth, tighten the clutches a tad tighter and most of all be on your rods as quick as you can.

No guests, no fishing this week, but a great chance to rest the fish. We have also taken the opportunity to get one or two jobs done, still in red hot temperatures. One of our main works was to build some new steps to pegs 1 & 2, as with the water variations in our area the level is now down 18 inches making it a little tricky landing fish so two new steps to each swim have now been constructed, this will now be much easier for future landing/returning the fish.
26/6/10
Compared with the previous week's results the fishing slowed down a little this week, it probably didn't help with scorching red hot temperatures to 36 degrees. This didn't stop our Dutch visitors putting a few fish on the bank; the 3 of them didn't manage to get among our big residents but still managed 8 thirties to 38lb8oz and 4 twenties to 29lb 12oz. Well done.
