FAQ Lac Desire 1

Q: Do you do a Friday night stay over?
A: Yes, At Lac Desire arrival from 4pm – 7pm, £30.00 per person including breakfast baguette and evening meal. (please note evening meals will only be served between 4pm – 7pm) must bring your bivvy.

Q: What time are we allowed on site to start our fishing holiday?
A: We open the gates at 12pm.

Q: How are the swims decided?
A: We give you a tour of the lake and swims explain all
features in each swim, a draw takes place for swims.

Q: Can we bring our own bait boat?
A: Yes you can, to be used in your own area, they are also available for hire. (STRICTLY NO ROWING BOATS).

Q: Can we use the on-site cooking facilities?
A: No this is used strictly by the bailiff only, but we do supply a small fridge, and the social gazebo area has a worktop ideal for camping stoves.

Q: Do you have a lake special boilie?
A: Yes we do, it works very well and is designed by Andy himself.

Q: What time can we arrive at the lake to start our fishing holiday?
A: Arrival time is from 2pm.

Q: How many anglers and non anglers are we allowed?
A: We allow up to 2 anglers and 3 non anglers (please see prices).

Q: Is there allocated parking with the accommodation?
A: There is a short walk from parking area to your accommodation (carp porters supplied).

Q: Can I still fish from a bivvy even though I have the accommodation?
A: Yes you can there are 2 to choose from, one next to lodge and one allocated on the little island (please see map).

Q: Do we need to bring any bedding?
A: No we supply all bedding and everything else you need other than towels.

Q: Is there disable access?
A: No, but there are no stairs in or around the lodge.
