FAQ Lac Desire 1

Q: Do you do a Friday night stay over?
A: Yes, At Lac Desire arrival from 4pm – 7pm, £30.00 per person including breakfast baguette and evening meal. (please note evening meals will only be served between 4pm – 7pm) must bring your bivvy.

Q: What time are we allowed on site to start our fishing holiday?
A: We open the gates at 12pm, lodge 2pm

Q: How are the swims decided?
A: We give you a tour of the lake and swims explain all features in each swim, a draw takes place for swims.

Q: Can we bring our own bait boat?
A: Yes you can, to be used in your own area, they are also available for hire. (STRICTLY NO ROWING BOATS).

Q: Can we use the on-site cooking facilities?
A: No this is used strictly by the bailiff only, but we do supply a small fridge, and the social gazebo area has a worktop ideal for camping stoves.

Q: Do you have a lake special boilie?
A: Yes we do, it works very well and is designed by Andy himself.

Q: How many double swims are there on Lac Desire?
A: We only have one of these, but Desire is a social lake and the swims are all positioned close together.

Q: Do we need to bring our own un-hooking mats?
A: No we supply them as well as weigh slings (free of charge for the week).

Q: Are pets allowed?
A: No.

Q: Can we drive to our swims?
A: No, but there is allocated car park near the swims and carp porters for your use.

Q: Are there shops and things to do nearby?
A: Yes, please see our facilities
